Flooding continues to cause road closures on highways and various other towns including Paterson, Wayne, Little Falls, Lincoln Park, and Hawthorne on Route 20, Route 46, and other areas. Daytime and overnight construction will close lanes on U.S. Highways 1&9 and 46; state routes 10, 20, 208, 7, 17 and 3; and Interstate 80. In Bergen County, traffic work includes closures on Route 46, Route 208, Route 4, and Route 17. Passaic River flooding may lead to the closure of lanes on roads in Fairfield and low-lying areas like Paterson, Wayne, Little Falls, and Hawthorne. In Hudson County, Route 7, and Marin Boulevard have roadwork causing road closures. In Morris County, Passaic River flooding also causing low-lying areas to flood and closing lanes. On I-80, construction will also close lanes between exits 39 and 42 in Parsippany, and in Passaic County, Route 20, Route 46, I-80, and Route 23 all have various closures for construction work. Entertainment events at the Prudential Center may cause congestion, including a Seton Hall basketball game which is set to take place.
